POLICE AREA COMMANDER, MUSILIU ALI BAGS PERSONALITY AWARD FOR COMPETENCE

The President of the Chambers, Ayo Ajayi in his speech said the choice of the police boss was on merit, coupled with his dexterity in the provision of sound and efficient security in the zone, as well as his proactive performances in policing.

Penpushing further reports that, Ajayi said, the decision to award him was reached at the General Assembly of the Junior Chambers International (JCI), which was heartily supported and welcome by members

‘We identified him for his hardwork, proactive nature in the policing assignments and dedication for the job across the zone, and we also realized that, in the area of humanity services, he is noticed to have been actively up and doing.

The awardee who is Assistant Commissioner of Police while responding appreciated the honour bestowed on him, adding that service to humanity was his watchword, stressing that as policeman he cannot toy with the security of the citizenry.

Penpushing also reports that, he emphasized that he would not relent in doing his professional duty in fighting crimes and criminals, pointing out that, investigations also showed that many people embark on crimes because of frustration.

The police boss noted that, where there is no security, business cannot thrive and tasked the youths to do away with crimes in the interest of their future and the country at large, stating that, on the part of the police, it will continue to give and provide maximum security at all levels.

Penpushing reports that, the Chairman, Police Community Public Relations(PCRC), Abeokuta Metro, Hon Yomi Whyte who presented the award on behalf of the Chambers said the awardee is a no nonsense officer, who does not compromise his integrity.

The Chairman noted that, the turnout of the guests to honour the awardee was attestation to his good character, quality and professionalism, stressing that he deserves the award from all ramifications, and also commended the Chambers for discovering him for the award
