Penpushing member, Sarafa Ishola gets ambassadorial appointment

A notable member of Penpushing Platform, Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola has been appointed as an ambassador by the Nigerian Government alongside  40 others representing various states, while Ishola got the job as nominee of Ogun State .

Penpushing reports that the appointments of Sarafa and others is contained in a letter written by President Muhammed Buhari addressed to the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan dated June 17,2020 for approval by the National Assembly

The letter read by the Senate President on Wednesday at the plenary stated that the appointment is in accordance to section 171(1) (2)c and subsection 4 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended

Penpushing further reports that Sarafa was a former Secretary to Ogun State Government under the administration of former Governor Gbenga Daniel, and later became the Minister of Steel under the administration of late President Shehu Yaradua

The full list of the 41 nominees also include; Umar Suleiman (Adamawa), Kevin Peter (Adamawa), Oboro Efliong Akpablo (Akwa Ibom), Elejah Onyeagba (Anambra), Abubakar Siyi (Bauchi), Philip Ikurusi (Bayelsa), Tarzoor Terhemen (Benue),Paul Adikwu (Benue),Al-Bishir Al-Hussain (Borno) and  Bwala Bukar (Borno)

The other nominees are: Monique Ekpong (Cross River), Oma Djebah (Delta), Ominyi Eze (Ebonyi), Yamah Musa (Edo), C. O Ugwu (Enugu),Hajara Salim, Gombe, Obiezu Chinyerem, Imo, Ali Magashi, Jigawa, M. A Markarfi, Kaduna and Hamisu Takalmawa, Kano

Penpushing also reports that, the list include: Jazuli Gadalanci, Kano, Safiya Nuhu, Kano, Yahaya Lawal, Katsina, Dare Sunday Awoniyi, Kogi,  Ibrahim Laaro, Kwara, Abioye Bello, Kwara, Zara Umar, Kwara, Ademola Seriki, Lagos, Henry Omaku, Nasarawa and  Sarafa Isola, Ogun
