A member of Penpushing platform, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, daughter of the late business mogul and politician, Chief Moshood Abiola has been appointed as Director General of Yahaya Bello Presidential Campaign Organisation
Penpushing reports that, Abiols-Costello appointment was made known ahead of the declaration of the Presidential ambition of Bello, who is the Governor of Kogi State, at a ceremony held on Saturday in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The 47 year old appointee is human rights and democracy activist and founder of Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND), an organization, named after her late mother, Kudirat, which seeks to promote democracy in Nigeria.
Penpushing further reports that, the Harvard-trained activist also served as Special Adviser MDGs in Ogun state under the administration of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who is now a serving Senator.
The former Senate Deputy Leader, Jonathan Zwingina was also named the national coordinator of the Campaign Organisation, while the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode is to serve as Deputy National Coordinator
Penpushing also reports that, 68 year old Zwingina, a former Director General of the M.K.O. Abiola Campaign Organisation and former Senate Deputy Leader, Jonathan Zwingina, has been named the national coordinator of the Yahaya Bello Presidential Campaign Organisation and
hails from Adamawa State, and was at various times Information Committee Chairman and Senate Deputy Leader while in the Upper Chamber between 1999 and 2007.
The Deputy National Coordinator, Fani-Kayode was a former Director of Media and Publicity for the President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation in 2015, and recently dumped Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC)
