OYO POLICE ARRESTS MAN FOR RAPING 34 YEAR OLD HOUSEWIFE, BEHEADING 5 YEAR OLD BOY

The police boss explained that the commercial motorcyclist took Bose with her son to his house at Imeleke road, Lawal Estate Area of Igboora and forcefully has unlawful carnal knowledge of her three times before day break, following the day, adding that the said commercial motorcycle rider took the victims son to another room and cut off his head with cutlass claiming to have dumped the remaining body of the small boy to a nearby bush beside his house.

“The remaining body part was later recovered at the backyard of the suspect and thereafter deposited at the General hospital mortuary for autopsy and the suspect has confessed for committing the crime,Olukolu said.

Penpushing further reports that the suspect while speaking with journalists said that it wasn’t intentional for committing the crime, saying that he has never killed someone in his life.

“I initially toasted the woman for us to be dating each other, so I took her to my house, raped her, and thereafter cut off the head of her son the following day, I later dumped the remains of the body in a nearby bush before the woman reported me and I was thereafter arrested”, he confessed

The Commissioner  however appreciated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the donation of (66) Sixty Six KIA Rio cars for patrol to the Switch Response Squad (SRS) of the State Police Command in addition to the installation of the state of the art communication gadgets for ease of communication and respond promptly to distress calls.

Penpushing also reports that, he maintained that crime and criminality has reduced to the nearest minimum in Oyo State, saying that this was due to serious clamp down on hoodlums, aggressive stop and search operations, intelligence led raid of criminals’ hideout, increased tops and routine Police patrol that was in place.

“I want to use this medium to remind and warn members of the public against the use of fireworks otherwise known as bangers, knockout and other explosive as well as organizing unauthorized street carnival within the state especially during this yuletide period”.

“I want to warn criminals who feels Oyo State can be a safe haven to carry out their intention to have a rethink and relocate outside the state as the long arms of the law will surely catch up with them”,Olukolu declared

The Commissioner therefore assured the general public of the protection of their life and property before, during, and after the yultide period, calling of them to continuing partner with the police, collaborate and support them with very useful and timely information to enable the police to serve the community better
