OGUN GOVERNOR’S WIFE COMMISSIONS OGUN RADIO ULTRA MODERN GROTTO

The Governor’s wife represented by the wife of the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Mrs Victoria Oluomo, lauded members of the OGSG11for providing ambience for children this yuletide and beyond adding that the gesture was worthy of emulation.

Penpushing further reports that, in a welcome address, Ogun Radio  General Manager, Mr  Diji Akinhanmi said the Father Christmas show is part of the station’s Corporate Social Responsibilities to its publics including the children, lauding Ogun State Generation 11 for partnering the station.

The representative of the Ogun State Generation 11, Architect Tolu Martins on his part  informed that members who were children of the first set of Ogun State Civil Servants and grew up in Ibara Housing Estate had mission to give back to the environment where they were raised, adding that the partnership with the station is a laudable exercise.

Penpushing also reports that, the Chief Judge of Ogun state, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu who was represented by Mrs Yomi Sofowora in her remarks gave thumbs up to the nation’s model station for deeming it fit to make the future generation happy with a colourful environment.

Similarly, Mrs Victoria Olubisi-George of Victors Nursery and Primary School who spoke on behalf of proprietors of schools of the 494 kids that attended the opening ceremony said Ogun Radio has definitely  written her name in gold as the memories of the show will continue linger on in the minds of participants.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mrs Doyin Lasisi-Oloruntola  while giving thanks to God for the success so far achieved said the station is moving with the trend with the provision of  first class facilities to make the show  worthwhile for children in the spirit of the season just as she gave thumbs up to OGSG11 and others for making the event memorable.

Penpushing also reports that, highlights of the opening ceremony were presentation of gifts to pupils of different school s, dancing and quiz competition as well as cutting of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation(OGBC) Christmas cake.
