OGUN GOVERNOR, DAPO ABIODUN RUNS GOVERNMENT WITHOUT COMMISSIONERS

However, investigations conducted by Penpushing revealed that the albatross of the Governor has to do with various interest groups which contributed to his success, and this include opposition party members and leaders who joined forces with him to defeat his  close rival, of the  Allied Peoples Movement(APM)

Penpushing further reports that, another issue is his party, the All Progressives Congress(APC) internal wrangling which is yet to be fully resolved, as the sacked executive of the  party led by Chief Derin Adebiyi, and supported by the immediate past Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, still run a parallel administration in the State Chapter.

The Governor is also said; to be in a tight corner following a suit against his electoral victory by the opposition Allied Peoples Movement (APM), which is ongoing at the Election Petition Tribunal, calling to question his election victory.

Penpushing further reports that, there is a lot of pressure on the Governor, from various political quarters, but he is said to be confused, hence, the delay in making appointments as anticipated, and his silence has started generating bad blood against him as at the time of filing this report

The Governor, in a related development as earlier exclusively reported by Penpushing has abandoned the office used by his predecessor and converted the office of the Secretary to the State Government for his official use to run the administration of the State.

Penpushing reports that the Governor has refused to use the official office used by Amosun, and no reason has been given for his action as at the time of filing this report, but it is no secret that, the Governor, Dapo Abiodun and his predecessor, Ibikunle Amosun, politically do not seem to belong to the same camp, which became more pronounced in the build up to the February Governorship election in the State.

Penpushing reports that, following the takeover of the office of the Secretary to the State Government, located in the same building where the original Governor’s private office is situated, the Secretary to the Government, has now relocated to the office of the Chief of Staff, where both operate as Government appointees.

The converted office of the Secretary to the State Government is also undergoing renovation to the taste of the Governor, while Governor Abiodun as at the time of this report has continued to use section of the office for administrative purposes.
