OGUN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE CHANGES LEADERSHIP

In her valedictory speech, former President of the Chambers, Chief (Mrs)Adesola Adebutu chronicled her administration performances for the two years in office, calling on the new leadership to apply more zeal and double efforts at ensuring the continuation of the beautiful programme.

She disclosed that, the Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chambers of Commerce, so as to enlarge its coast as a chamber and to provide trade and bilateral platforms for members to maximize, and for the Chinese to key into the vast markets and available investment opportunities in Ogun State.

‘Finally, I wish to assure this august gathering that, yes, I am stepping down today as the President of OGUNCCIMA, but I am not sleeping out, neither am I stepping aside. I will continue to attend OGUNCCIMA meetings and will continue to always make myself available whenever and wherever my services may be needed’, Adebutu stated.

The National President of NACCIMA, Iyalode Alaba Lawson in her remark commended the outgone administration, pointing out that the Adebutu led administration did her best, and called on the new administration to also forge ahead in contributing its quota to the developmental growth of the chambers.

Lawson also advised members to ensure cooperation and put whatever differences within behind them, stressing that her joy was to see that, Ogun Chambers, where she came from is growing positively, and also said there shouldn’t be any rancor.
