Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs appoints new Deputy President-General

The Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has appointed Rasaki Oladejo as its Deputy President-General (South).

Penpushing reports that, the Deputy Secretary General of the Council, Salisu Shehu made this known in a statement, adding that the appointed Deputy President-General (South). is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

The Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic(NSCIA) is headed by the Sultan of Sokoto,Alhai  Saad Abubakar as the President-General, while the council generally oversees the affairs of Nigerian Muslims on matters such as when the Ramadan fast should commence or end.
