NIGERIA PULL OUT FROM WORLD ECONOMIC SUMMIT, RECALLS AMBASSADOR TO SOUTH AFRICA

The Federal Government had on Tuesday demanded full compensation for the loss of life and property of Nigerians affected by the xenophobic attack and also demanded an improved security mechanism to ensure such attacks no longer occur.

Penpushing further reports that, Nigerian Government   has resolved to fall apart with the South African Government following tension over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa which escalated following the report of fresh attacks on Saturday.

The Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, equally summoned the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Moroe, over the attacks, and also disclosed on Tuesday that President Muhammadu Buhari would be sending an envoy to South Africa on the issue.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Government has, however, warned its citizens to refrain from retaliatory attacks against South African businesses in the country.
