The killing of Shefiu was, however, traced to a scuffle between rival suspected cultists, while members of the groups ran away from the scene immediately after the shooting, leaving behind the lifeless body of the victim.

Penpushing further reports that, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Badagry, Samson Akhiromen, said as at the time of this report, one suspect had been arrested over the killing, and that investigation was underway to establish the motive behind the killing.

The Divisional Police Officer also added as at the time of filing this report that efforts were on to apprehend other suspected hoodlums involved in the incident.
