New Oyo state police commissioner resumes

The new Commissioner of Police recently posted to Oyo State, Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu has officially resumed on Monday, urging the men and officers of the command to always respect human right.

Penpushing reports that the new police boss while speaking with journalists at the command headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, noted that men and officers of the command must ensure that the fundamental human right of citizens and resident of the state is respected.

“Our officers should be law abiding and respect the human right of the people, go back to your various division and commands and ensure high level of security in your areas. Let’s join hands together and put a stop crimes and criminality in Oyo State” he charged

The Commissioner, however appreciated the Inspector General of Police for giving him an opportunity to serve, saying that the police chieftain has ordered him to ensure peace and security across the state so as to bring economic development in the state

Penpushing further reports that, Enwonmu therefore called on the public to always support the Police by giving the Police necessary information to them.

The outgoing Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, thanked the management team for their cooperation during his stay as the police boss in the state, saying that everything that has beginning must has an end.

‘Today is a milestone, I will always have connection with Oyo State, everything has been on smooth running but we are able to move ahead and succeed in our operations. I am leaving Oyo State as a fulfilled Commissioner of Police; I want to enjoin the incoming Police Commissioner to allow open door policies.”

Penpushing also reports that, Olukolu  however thanked the  management team for their support so far, calling on them to extend the same to his successor in other to secure the live’s and property of the people.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Abayomi Alonge in his remarks thanked the outgoing  police commissioner saying that the command has benefited immensely from his outstanding achievements

Penpushing reports that, Alonge however assured the new commissioner of police of  maximum  support, saying that men and officers of the command are ready for the security of lives and property of the people in the state.
