My experience as Vice President will count if I become President in 2023, says Yemi Osinbajo

The Nigerian Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Friday declared that all the opportunity he has been given to serve in the past as the Vice President and Acting President of Nigeria would assist him if he eventually becomes the President come 2023.

Penpushing reports that Osinbajo stated this at All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders engagement forum, which was held in Ibadan, Oyo state, noting  that opportunity has given him to understand governance and exposed him to local and international highest level of governance which has given him the opportunity to contest and to serve the country.

The Vice President who recently declared his interest to take over from President Muhammad Buhari next year, noted that every politician deserve to be treated well and properly and expect to be rewarded with positions, opportunity to serve when the opportunity arrives.

Penpushing further reports that, Osinbajo  reiterated his promise to party delegate as well as politicians that he will consult them in every level as regards the security and economy of the country.

Meanwhile, the Vice President  had before the meeting, visited Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, who prayed for him that he will succeed president Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
