Lockdown: Penpushing Media Founder postpones daughter’s wedding

The founder of Penpushing Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji has postponed the wedding ceremony of his daughter, scheduled to hold on April 25 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, following the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.

Penpushing reports that the wedding ceremony between Temitope(bride) and Ayodele(groom) had been slated to hold at Abeokuta South Local Government Secretariat, and the reception at the events hall of  St Peters Cathedral Church, Ake, Abeokuta.

The statement from the bride’s family in conjunction with the family of the groom explained that in compliance with government safety measures and lockdown order, resolved to postpone the ceremony until further notice, when the situation improves.

‘Following the ravaging coronavirus, with the play safe and lockdown order by the Federal Government, we wish to inform the general public, especially our invited guests that, in compliance with the order, the wedding of our children has been put on hold, until the health situation improves’, Kayode-Adedeji wrote

Penpushing also reports that, the families said a new date will be communicated when the coast is clear of the ravaging disease, which is known to be threatening countries across the world, and also expressed appreciation to all invited guests for their understanding and prayers.

‘We want to also express our appreciation to our invited guests who have already prepared their minds to honour us with their presence at the ceremony. We shall once again communicate to you, of a new date as soon as the coast is clear. Once again, thank you all and joy shall not depart in our various homes. God bless ‘, the family said
