Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria commences membership drive in Ogun state

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN),Ogun State Chapter has commenced proactive membership drive towards effective relevance among other chapters across the country.

Penpushing reports that, the Chairperson,Mrs  Bukola Adebayo made this known on Saturday during the cocktail party organized by the institute held in Abeokuta, the state capital, with a call on interested members not to hesitate in being part of the body.

The Chairperson disclosed that, as part of seriousness of the body, new lecture centre has been established in the town, to offer test opportunity for prospective members, unlike before when they have to go to Lagos.

‘We are working hard on membership drive towards our relevance among other chapters across the country. I am using this opportunity to call on interested and prospective members not to hesitate in coming on board’, she said

Penpushing further reports that, Adebayo added that, in addition to the proactive move, the institute has concluded arrangements for a public lecture scheduled to come up in March, adding that in similar vein, test opportunity has been designed for would be members.

‘I am calling on prospective members not to hesitate in joining the body. We have also concluded plan for a public lecture in March. We shall make test opportunity for our prospective members. And I want to say this, the cocktail party is an avenue for us to encourage interested members’, Adebayo said

Penpushing also reports that, the Registrar of the body, Mrs Taiwo Olusesi in her remarks called on need for improve in membership drive, adding that essence of the gathering was to interact and encourage would be members.

The Registrar added that it was important for the institute to be vibrant, calling on members to use their contacts to drive more membership, as well as need for proactive awareness across the state and environs.

‘There is need for us to improve on membership drive, and the essence of this gathering is to interact and encourage prospective members. It is also important that we should be vibrant, and we should also use our contacts to drive more membership’, she emphasized

Penpushing reports that, Olusesi disclosed that the institute is planning to collaborate with the Customary Court of Appeal, explaining towards this a courtesy call to the President of the Court was in the offing.

The cocktail party was chaired by President of the Customary Court, Hon Justice Mobolaji Ojo, and other notable personalities in attendance include Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, founder Penpushing media  and Oluwayemisi Adedigba  among others

Penpushing further reports that, members of the institute in attendance include: Mrs Basirat Adebowale,  Mrs Oluyemi Daramola, Mrs Aishat Okuribido,  Motolani Oyedeji, Mrs Taiwo Olusesi and Mrs  Bukola Adebayo
