I AM A FULFILLED GOVERNOR AFTER SERVING FOR EIGHT YEARS, SAYS AMOSUN
The Governor noted that the State’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has sky rocketed due to the quantum of investments and assets that abound in the State, adding that development partners are now collaborating with the State in various areas that have positive impact on the people.
Penpushing further reports that, the Governor also disclosed that his government has fully paid for all ongoing road projects in Ijebu-Ode, and thanked the organised labour and Civil Servants for the support given to his administration, assuring that he would look for ways of offsetting outstanding leave bonus and gratuities.
The State Chairman of Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Bunmi Fajobi, earlier in his remark said, the visit was to thank the Governor for fulfilling his promise to offset deduction arrears, saying, “We want to appreciate you for fulfilling your promise to Civil Servants in the State.
His words,”I can say authoritatively that we have received the 17 months salary deductions and the gross salary of April. You meant well for Ogun State and you have done well. You have grown the State in all ramifications and we thank God for your courage and tenacity”.
Penpushing also reports that, the congress boss added that the Governor was leaving the State better than he met it, expressing optimism that the incoming administration would continue to build on his legacies.
