Gunmen kill man while withdrawing money from Automated Machine in Ibadan
Gunmen have shot dead a yet-to-be identified man after withdrawing some cash at the Automated Machine (ATM) located at Water bus stop, along University of Ibadan-Ojoo Road, Oyo state capital.
Penpushing reports that, the victim suspected to have been trailed by the attackers was shot on Monday in his private part and rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Ojoo area of the town where he was later confirmed dead.
The victim, a witness, who said he was returning from school, when the incident happened, stressed that he (victim) had withdrawn huge amount of money from a new generation bank at the University of Ibadan, adding that he was later rushed in a Micra car to the hospital.
“I saw him when he was taken to the hospital in a Micra car. I just left school when the incident happened. I saw the guy and I am sure he was dead,” the witness said.
Penpushing further reports that, the Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso as at the time of this report said he was yet to be briefed of the sad incident.
