GROUP THREATENS GOVERNOR AMOSUN WITH NO VOTE ,IF INSISTS ON IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATES

The leader of the protesters, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi while venting the group anger, declared that, anything contrary to the wishes of the electorates in the local government will deprive the party of the residents’ loyalty.

He also threatened that, the community would vote against President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 if the party fails to give the State House of Assembly ticket to Oludotun.

Penpushing reports that, Adeyemi noted that, “politics is beyond taking N500 or rice from anybody and if we must change this country for better, we must start from our different constituencies and this is our own constituency’.

“Today, people under the umbrella of Abeokuta Vanguard are saying no to imposition, we cannot allow a stranger to be forced on us in this constituency and that is why we are out here today to register our displeasure’.

“Our man, Hon Oludotun is the people’s choice who will win any kind of primary either direct or delegate system because he has touched so many lives even without a political office’, Adeyemi stated.

“We are however using this medium to call on the President Muhammadu Buhari and National Chairman of the Party Com. Adams Oshiomole to please come to our aid and prevail on Governor Ibikunle Amosun’.

“We can afford to force our man out of the party and follow him to wherever he wants to go, but he refused saying, that can resort to an act of disloyalty but if the party refused to prevail on the Governor we would vote against the party both at the State and Federal level. We would ensure that we vote against Mr President during the 2019 election if our appeal is neglected.”
