Governor Abiodun publicly presents Amosun”s nephew as All Progressives Congress choice candidate for assembly poll

The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday publicly presented Yusuf Amosun, the nephew of his predecessor Senator Ibikunle Amosun, as his choice and candidate of All Progressives Congress(APC) for the House of Assembly in the forthcoming general elections.

Penpushing reports that Abiodun presented the junior Amosun to the electorate at a rally held at Itori town of Ewekoro local government area of the state, and equally canvased votes for him, adding that he is competent lawmaker who also deserves second term to represent the Ifo/Ewekoro constituency
The Governor emphasized that Amosun is a reliable supporter of his administration and therefore called on eligible electorate to vote for him alongside all candidates of the All Progressives Congress(APC),and also stressed importance need for them to secure their Permanent Voter Cards(PVC).
Penpushing further reports that, Abiodun while expressing confidence on the quality of Amosun as a lawmaker who will also add value to his administration if elected for second term jocularly bestowed on him the title of “Eleyi” of Ewekoro local government area of the state
The Governor pledged that on being re-elected he would not derail from his policy of keeping promises and encouraged members of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) to commence intensive house to house campaign ahead of the elections.
Penpushing also reports that Abiodun at the rally disclosed that he would complete the ongoing reconstruction of the Abeokuta-Lagos expressway within eighteen months.
The Governor in similar vein, presented Senator Olamilekan Solomon as Candidate for Ogun West Senatorial District, Shuaib Salisu as candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District and Isiaka Ibrahim candidate for House of Representatives for the party.
Penpushing reports that it is on record that,the former Governor has been at loggerhead with his successor(Abiodun) for political differences as he(Amosun) declared that he would not support Abiodun”s second term ambition and prefered to pitch his tent with opposition governorship candidate in the forthcoming general elections
