Giant uplift for four Penpushing platform members in broadcasting industry

Four members of Penpushing platform on Thursday recorded a resounding giant leap in the broadcasting industry following their appointment and award of Excellence for their meritorious service to Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON)

Penpushing reports that, they include: Dr Yemisi Bamgbose who emerged as the Executive Secretary of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), and the trio of Segun Adeleye, Seyi Oladimeji and Toyin Sogbesan were bestowed with award of excellence

The proactive broadcaster, Bamgbose who was a two tenure National President of the Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) emerged Executive Secretary at the 74th session of Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria(BON) held in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) .

Penpushing further reports that, the veteran broadcaster and a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Civil Service, as well as the awardees area from Ogun State.

The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) is a broad coalition of public and private broadcasters as the nation’s umbrella union of Terrestrial Radio Television (Tv) Direct-To-Home (DTH) Digital Terrestial Television (DTT) Multimedia Distribution System (MMDS)

Penpushing also reports that, the organization was established in 1973, comprised of over 100 members and they collectively own over 250 radio and television stations.

The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria(BON’s) vision is to foster a future-proof environment for Radio, Television and new media broadcasters to serve their audiences and contribute to the development of our society

Meanwhile, the immediate past General Manager of Ogun State Television(OGTV),Bashorun Festus Kehnde was not left out in the celebration, as he was also bestowed an award of excellence by the organisation
