Fasunle Makinde Media set for Owuye Day ceremony
A prominent radio broadcaster Fasunle Makinde has disclosed plans for celebration of Owuye Day and award presentation, as well as launch of a Non -Governmental Organisation(NGO) aimed to empower the needy in the society.
Penpushing reports that Makinde made this known during an interview with Penpushing Media crew, explaining that the event is scheduled to hold Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
The veteran broadcaster added that the ceremony is scheduled to take place at Kensington Adebutu Hall, Abeokuta Sports club located within Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta.
Penpushing further reports that he stated that the side attraction for the event will include participation of the popular comedian, Musiliu Sanni popularly called Adisa Oni Taxi, as well as another popular radio presenter Kolawole Adejojo known as Kasnaty
The organizer also known as Omo Aye added that the Chairman of the Day is Chief Muraina Alexandar (Bashorun Agba Akin of Yorubaland) and Chief (Mrs) Mojisola Oni-Quadri as mother of the day.
Penpushing also reports that he said the Chief Launcher is Alhaji Sulaiman Omidina (Chief Executive Officer Slab Investment), and royal fathers of the day are Oba Musiliu Olipede (Olu of Itori-Oke and Oba Lawrence Adetokun (Onikopa of Ikopa)
The other royal fathers include Oba Joshua Akinolu (Olu of Egbado Ajegunle), Oba Ifakayode Akinikinkun (Olu of Ibogun, while spiritual father of the day is Prophet Olusola Aboaba (Baba Ori-Oke Ojasope
Penpushing reports that the Chief Host is Dr Yinka Ayefele (Chief Executive Officer Fresh F. M Radio Nigeria), while the host is Prophet Olayinka Sonola, popularly called Oganjo Oru, as well as Taye Currency as musician for ceremony
