Deputy Commissioner of Police, Alamutu bags professional excellence award

A Deputy Commissioner of Police with the Ogun State Command, Abiodun Alamutu has been presented an Award of Professional Excellence following his gallant roles in maintaining peace and security in the state.

Penpushing reports that, the award ceremony organized by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ogun State Chapter took place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Valley view Government House in Abeokuta.

The award presentation was part of the programme of sendforth in hounour of the retired Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, who bowed out of service after attaining the age of 60

Penpushing further reports that, the retired police boss presented the award to Alamutu, who he described as a gallant officer, loyal, proactive and competent, also known for dedication to the police profession

The Chairman Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Venerable Samson Popoola in his own remarks said Alamutu was recognized for his outstanding roles and performance in recent times, particularly his unquantifiable support for the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).

‘The leadership of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Ogun State Command has recognized your outstanding roles and performance in recent times, particularly your unquantifiable support for the PCRC and gallant roles in maintaining peace and Security in our dear state’, Popoola emphasised.

‘In appreciation, we wish to present you with the OGUN PCRC 2021 Award of Professional Excellence as a way of further motivating you to greater performance’,the chairman added.
