Daniel picks nomination form to contest senatorial seat in Ogun state

Former Governor of Ogun, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has picked nomination form to contest Senatorial seat in Ogun East Senatorial District of the the state in the forthcoming general election under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Penpushing reports that the two  term Governor was at the party national secretariat in Abuja, on Wednesday where he picked the  nomination and expression of interest form and was received by the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdulahi Adamu alongside members of the National Working Committee(CWC).
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)  in a short speech during the ceremony said he was happy and very excited that  Daniel has shown interest in the position,boasting that with Daniel participating in the election it has further brightened chances of the party performances in Ogun state and South-West at the general election.
Penpushing further reports that  Adamu emphasised that he had known Daniel, popularly called OGD for number of  years and they have both maintained a good relationship, stressing that he(Daniel) is a quality material for the ruling party in all ramifications.
The other chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC) present to witness collection of the form by Daniel include Otunba Iyiola Omisore;(National Secretary) Dr Betta Edu (National Women Leader) Dr Cairo Ojuogbo; Senator. Abdullahi Adamu; Ali Modu Sheriff; APC Deputy Nat’l Chairman (North) and Senator Abubakar Kyari (National Chairman North)
