Court ruling: Stop posturing as spokesman of All progressives congress, party cheiftain tells Elegbede

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Chief Wole Elegbede of trying to confuse members of the public over the Monday High Court ruling in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory(FCT),adding that he(Elegbede) has inadvertently revealed that the case of the dissolved executive   was full of “all defects”.

Penpushing reports that, Assistant Publicity Secretary of the party, Evangelist (Mrs.) Olusola Ogunsanya in a statement made available to journalists, insisted that Elegbede was a former Publicity Secretary of the party under the administration of Chief Derin Adebiyi who lacks constitutional rights to issue statement on behalf of the ruling party
‘In a bid to confuse the members of the public that the ruling of Justice Jude Okeke of High Court Nine in Abuja today was in their favour, Chief Wole Elegbede, former publicity secretary of the dissolved executives led by Chief Derin Adebiyi, has inadvertently revealed that their case was full of “all defects”, the statement reads.

‘This was contained in a press statement he signed and shared in the social media. Hear him:
“In his ruling today, May 18 2020, Justice Okeke dismissed all the grounds of objection and upheld the motions of the plaintiffs’, Ogunsanya stated.

The statement emphasized and posited that, the court having assumed jurisdiction over the matter settled that all the defects in the endorsement of services outside the jurisdiction should be amended”, adding, ‘the question to ask Chief Elegbede is: why will a court rule in favour of people who filed processes, which, in the words of Elegbede contained, “ALL DEFECTS”?

‘Moreover, why did Chief Elegbede not mention when the case was adjourned to, if actually the case wasn’t thrown out?’ the statement queried, stressing that, ‘Chief Derin Adebiyi Group and their sponsor are serial losers’.

‘We thank God that the ruling of the court has served the interest of justice. Till date, these impostors who claimed to be the rightful officers of our great party, are yet to congratulate Prince Dapo Abiodun on his victory at the governorship election, one year after’.

‘They are yet to congratulate the Governor on his victories at the Election Petition Tribunal, Appeal Court and Supreme Court!  The General public is advised to ignore this group and its misinformation’, Ogunsanya stated
