Couple arrested for inserting bottle in private part of 20 year old girl

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a couple in Agbara axis of Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of the state for allegedly abducting a 20 year old girl and inserting bottle in her private part.

Penpushing reports that,  the Command Public Relations Officer Abimbola Oyeyemi who made this known in a statement on Monday,  the suspects Osas Onyeokweni and Tomisin Onyeokwenu lured the victim to a hideout in Lusasa community of Agbara town to commit the crime.

The statement added that, the innocent girl on arrival was lured into an uncompleted building, where the couple subsequently subjected her to inhuman treatment, tore her dress with scissors and thereafter inserted an empty bottle of “Alomo” drink in her private part, took the picture and threatened to upload on internet, if she dares make any report.

Penpushing further reports that, the police said, the victim was the girlfriend of the man, who she introduced her friend to, but subsequently snatched the man from her and eventually got married to her.

The police image maker  said the victim reported at Agbara divisional headquarters that her former boyfriend Osas Onyeokweni who is now married to her friend  Tomisin Onyeokwenu  called her on phone to meet him somewhere around Lusasa

Penpushing also reports that, Oyeyemi  said upon the report, the Divisional Police Officer, (DPO)  Agbara Division SP Dahiru Saleh dispatched his detectives to go after the couple and they were eventually arrested, adding that on interrogation, the couple admitted committing the crime but pleaded that they regretted their action.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has directed that the suspects be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded, and equally vowed never to allow any violence against women to go uninvestigated.
