College of broadcasting advances, introduces capacity building programme for school Proprietors

The College of Broadcasting, an affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta has gone one step further on its growing records with introduction of capacity development training programme for School Proprietors, Head of Schools, Administrators, Head Teachers, Departmental Heads, and Unit Leaders

Penpushing reports that, the College Provost, Dr Ayoola Ajasa made this disclosure in a statement, explaining that, the one day training is scheduled to hold September 8, 2021, between 8.30am-3.30pm at the College of Broadcasting, Glass House, located at Opako, Adigbe area of Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The statement noted that many school owners and administrators are groaning in silence with the challenges of dwindling students’ enrolment, high teachers turnover, rising debt profile and inability to meet their financial obligations.

‘In view of this, COBAB CONSULT, a subsidiary of the College of Broadcasting, Abeokuta invites you to a day capacity development training programme for School Proprietors, Head of Schools, Administrators, Head Teachers, Departmental Heads, and Unit Leaders etc.’Ajasa said

Penpushing further reports that, the college management said the general objectives of the training is aimed to stir up the leadership attitude for growth and school sustainability, imbue discipline and instigate value re-orientation within the school system, encourage the development of effective School System, cultivate valuable financial character and money management in a school system and  develop social and interpersonal skills for team building towards achieving School Vision and Mission

The statement added that course contents include: effective leadership for school growth and sustainability, developing an effective school system (Building a Self-Run System),effective staff relations (How to retain your best staff),effective media relations for school growth (With lean Budget) and the “Man” behind a great school.

Penpushing also reports that, the statement said the course fee is N30, 000, which covers course  materials,  certificate, Tea and lunch break, with a call on participants to make payment to Wema Bank Account 0123481162 in favour of the College

The statement said participants would have opportunities of getting free books authored by the provost, which titles include: School Branding-Strategy for Sustaining School Growth, Attitude and Job Performance for Teachers, Classroom Management(Fundamental Tool for Effective Teaching, Great Teachers, Great(The Strength of a School in the Quality of the Teachers) and The Leaders Attitude(Commitment-Quality of a True Disciple).
