College of Broadcasting pioneer students begin academic activities on Thursday

The College of Broadcasting Abeokuta (COBAB), located in Opako-Adigbe area of the Ogun State Capital will on Thursday, July 29, 2021 commenced academic activities with its pioneer students.

Penpushing reports that the college affiliated to Crescent University is running a certificate course and diploma programme for its students, who were earlier on July 14, 2021 engaged in orientation held at the college campus.

The Registrar of the College, Fatai Akinbola in a statement on Wednesday said time table for lectures had been released for the take of the programmes, scheduled to start on Thursday, adding that competent lecturers have been employed to teach the students.

Penpushing further reports that, the management of the college on Wednesday held meetings with the lecturers as well as the pioneer students, in preparatory for the commencement of the academic activities.

The students it is recalled during the orientation coordinated by the Provost of the College, Dr Ayoola Ajasa  in the college lecture hall advised all students to collect their admission letter  and pay tuition fee in preparatory for lectures.

‘We are glad to inform all our prospective students  that academic activities will start on Thursday, July 29, 2021, All students are expected to  complete their admission processes and pay their tuition fee before resumption of classes, Akinbola emphasised

Meanwhile, the College , an initiative of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) is an affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta and  offers Diploma and Certificate Programmes in Broadcasting as well as workshops, seminars and special courses that cut across all broadcasting fields.
