
Certificate Forgery: Minister Geoffrey Nnaji resigns
The embattled Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Geoffrey Nnaji, involved in certificates forgery has resigned from office on Tuesday days after several attempt to cover up the crime failed.
Penpushing reports that resignation of Nnaji who presented fake certificate of University of Nigeria (UNN) and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to secure appointment was confirmed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accepted the resignation of Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, following some allegations against him. President Tinubu appointed Nnaji in August 2023’, the statement reads

“He resigned today in a letter thanking the President for allowing him to serve Nigeria. Nnaji said he has been a target of blackmail by political opponents. President Tinubu thanked him for his service and wished him well in future endeavours’, Onanuga added
