BOKO HARAM ATTACKS ANOTHER NIGERIAN MILITARY BASE,15 SOLDIERS KILLED,19 WOUNDED

The source disclosed that, in the course of the attack, the insurgents reportedly made away with heavy military equipment, including anti-aircraft machine guns and Toyota Hilux vehicles, but it was  not immediately clear the level of casualties against the terrorists.

Penpushing further reports that, the Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) had already claimed as responsible  for the attack via its propaganda channels, but the  army has not issued a statement about the attack as at the time of filing this report.

It is recalled that, similar attack occurred on April 26, when the insurgents overrun  a base in Borno allegedly killing at least five soldiers while the dozens feared missing were yet to be found as at time of this report.

Penpushing also reports the violent attacks by the Book Haram have continued despite the efforts of Nigeria’s security agencies in partnership with those of neighboring countries, while the insurgent activities are known to be prominent to the three North-Eastern States of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.
