Bandits abduct former National Broadcasting Commission Director, daughter in Kastina state
A former Zonal Director of the National Broadcasting Commission(NBC) Ahmed Abdulkadir and his daughters,as well as three others have been abducted by bandits in an attack on Monday night in Bakori, Katsina State.
Penpushing reports that the bandits abducted the former commission staff, alongside others around 9pm when they(gunmen) stormed Shema quarters in Government in Bakori where he had gone to see his second wife.
The son of the broadcaster, Nasif Ahmed confirmed the incident, but was yet to provide details as at the time of filing this report, while a colleague of the ace broadcaster also affirmed that the former Director was kidnapped alongside the 15 year old girl and others
Penpushing further reports that, Abdulkadir was the General Manager of the Katsina State Television Authority before he joined the service of National Broadcasting Commission(NBC), where he served as Head of Public Affairs and later zonal director in both Maiduguri and Sokoto zones.
