Atiku takes campaign to America

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Thursday took his campaign to Washington DC, the United States of America (USA) capital, and he is expected to meet with Nigerians in that country ahead of the 2023 general election.

Penpushing reports the trip is part of his campaign itinerary and will also meet with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in North America, some Nigerian business leaders based in the country as well as, young Nigerian professionals in the Diaspora, among other meetings with some business community.

The Presidential Candidate was accompanied by the Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha, among others.

Penpushing further reports that, Atiku   was welcomed by former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, campaign spokespersons, Dino Melaye and Phrank Shuaibu, amongst other aides, and the team is expected to return to Nigeria on Monday.

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Presidential Campaign train will on   Tuesday,  move to Ekiti State, while the campaign rally in Ondo State would hold on Wednesday, while it is recalled that the party kicked of the Presidential Campaign three weeks ago in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.

Penpushing also reports that last Saturday the campaign train moved to Kaduna, and last Saturday, Benin, the Edo State capital, while it is equally recalled that Atiku  visited flood victims in Bayelsa State within the week.
