ATIKU LOSES OWN POLLING UNIT TO BUHARI

The loyalists of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said the loss wasn’t a total victory for Buhari, explaining that the unit has been historically won by  Buhari. However, in a related development Buhari overwhelmingly won his polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A in Daura, Katsina State with 523 votes against Atiku’s   three votes.

In another development, President Buhari’s party , All Progressives Congress (APC), lost the  candidate for Katsina North Senatorial District, to Accord Party. The competition was between the incumbent Kaita Baba-Ahmad of All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 248 votes and, Lawal Nalado of Accord Party who scored 263.
