Action Alliance is to adopt awolowo’s politics of welfarism in ogun state, says adeyemi

The Governorship Candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Ogun State Chapter, Dr Samuel Adeyemi said his mission if elected would be politics of welfarism in line with the policy of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Penpushing reports that Adeyemi made this known at a press conference held at the party secretariat located along Alake Sports Stadium road, in Ijeja, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, adding that it was high time for electorate to flush out politicians fond of injecting poverty into their lives

‘We are of the Papa Awolowo School of politics of welfarism. Papa said and I quote,’ As far as possible, expenditure on services which tend to the welfare and health and education of the people should be increased at the expense of any expenditures that does not answer to the same test’

Penpushing further reports that Adeyemi emphasized that welfarism shall be his administration philosophy in Ogun State, stressing that he would offer the populace a congenial environment in education, healthcare, commerce, agriculture, tourism, technology and sports so that they can be the best they aspire to be.

‘Action Alliance is a party that is committed to the emancipation of the suffering of the masses. We beckon on the populace to cast their votes for us in the forthcoming elections to ensure integrity, transparency and honesty in the handling of the affairs of the state. So help us God’, he stated

‘We are committed to taking over the driving seat of the destiny  of the majority of our citizens, beginning from Ogun State in the forthcoming elections. Our vision is to turn Ogun State into the most secured state in Nigeria, the best economy and the most productive centre of industrial activity in Africa’, Adeyemi emphasized
